I’ve been photographing a lot of families from Crawley and the surrounding area.
These two particular families stood out as they were so full of joy and happiness and photographed so fantastically.
Sam and Miriam are expecting their second child and wanted some lovely photos to remember this time by. Miriam arrived in a wonderful full length dress and despite the cold (and overcast sky) I’ve managed to ramp up the sunshine in post production and warm her up a bit. (It was frigid!) But the photos are worth it.
Ama and family wanted to stay a bit warmer and opted for an indoor photo shoot (who can blame them!) I took my portable studio to their home and set it up in the conservatory, we spent the shoot capturing a lovely mixture of formal and informal photos, the kids wanted photos in their new tracksuits…and mum and dad wanted photos in their traditional Nigerian outfits, all of which is not a problem and we made a bit of extra time to get the costume changes done.
