FAMILY Photography in Horsham – west sussex
I go out on location to photograph Horsham families across West Sussex, photographing them in their favourite places be that at home, a bluebell wood, a park, the South Downs, the seaside…. I’ve photographed families, couples and individuals from towns and villages in most areas around the Horsham and West Sussex area, but also further afield. Whether it’s a family celebrating a get together at the family farm or a family celebrating a significant milestone with dozens of guests. I can provide you with the photographic record of your family that you want.
Photographing children
I aim to make all my family portrait shoots as fun and interactive as possible, and because children don’t always enjoy being told what to do, I don’t mind spending a bit of time getting to know the children that I photograph, discovering what makes them smile and laugh and photographing them in their own element showing off their true natural and happy selves. I have built and enjoy great and ongoing relationships with many of my customers around Horsham and even further afield, capturing great photorgaphs of families as they grow and develop over the years. I really enjoy photographing children, it’s great when they can be their usual (sometimes cheeky) selves, having fun, being silly and generally looking amazing in front of the camera.

My portable studio setup allows me to capture professional portraits for individuals as well as small family groups and infants. The portable studio fits in even the smallest of homes and is always popular when the weather isn’t picture perfect.
Newborn Photography
The most special of moments, having a baby, is one that many of us want to capture, but it’s not one where you are wanting to be out of the house or carrying a bag full of supplies to a studio. As such I provide house visits to photograph you and newborn baby at home, I allow extra time (for the essential feeds and nappy changes) at no extra cost, to make sure we capture your beautiful new arrival in the comfort of your own home, and without any added stress. My mini studio setup and a selection of props allows us to capture those precious first days, before your baby starts growing up all too quickly.

Hi, I’m Alex, an experienced family and portrait photographer based in Horsham, West Sussex. I’ve been taking photos since I was a teenager, and since 2005, I’ve been capturing portraits of families, individuals, couples and young children around Horsham and across West Sussex, I specialise in candid, natural photography that tells your family’s story.
