I’ve just got home from Paul and Tracy Woodroof’s wedding, it was a great day, the weather which had been forcast to rain holding off and we had glorious sunshine for the best part of the day, with only a shower during the reception meal. As the wedding photographer the day was full of inquisitive children, who despite their persistence of trying to follow me everywhere were a joy to be with.

The wedding itself was at Horsham’s All Saints Church, which is a stunning venue for a wedding, still suffering due to poor lighting but a lot better than some churches I’ve been to recently. The bride and groom then moved on to Cisswood House hotel for their reception, we were greeted at the door with a red carpet and waiters brandishing drinks, once the group photos with all of Paul and Tracy’s friends and family had been accomplished we headed to the garden for the couple shoot.

I stuck around until the first dance, and listening to the speeches I think Tracy’s impromptu speech was the best, with the quote of the day being “I can’t believe it’s taken this long!” Which after 18 years of being together was an understatement. But well done to Paul for finally popping the question and Tracy for being such a beautiful happy bride.
Below are just a few of the photos I’ve taken, more to come when I’ve sorted through the 2000 odd photos from today.

Congratulations to you both, I hope you have a great honeymoon.
