I’m really excited to be showing these photos off to you today, Andy and Mel are a beautiful young couple expecting their first baby any day now; they got in touch recently to ask me to take some baby photos when their little one arrived, and I asked if they would like some baby bump photos as well…to which they jumped at the idea. When they arrived it was not only wonderful to see a couple so happy and excited by the soon to be addition to their little family, but they knew what they wanted, which was great for me as we got to play around a lot more in the studio creating the photos that they wanted, and not just standard photos either…Andy was busy doing press ups over Mel for part of the session!

With back-lighting we created some stunning silhouettes of them both.

And then with some strong side lighting we captured a beautiful, delicate portrait of them both.

One of their main requests was to insert the first scan photo into a heart shape that they had made with their hands on Mel’s tummy.
