A wedding in Weymouth
I love it when I’m asked to shoot weddings outside of my normal wedding photography stomping grounds (West Sussex) so when Jonny and Karen asked if I would capture their wedding in Weymouth I simply couldn’t say no!
They were getting married at StJohn’s church, right in the heart of Weymouth and only a stone’s throw from the beach and beautiful Greenhill gardens overlooking Weymouth bay. Which was where we shot their couple photos. In my eyes at least we had the perfect location. The wedding reception was held down the road at Charlton Down Village Hall, which was unlike any village hall I’ve ever shot at before with a spectacular panelled ballroom overlooking the Charlton down cricket club.
Most of all Jonny and Karen as a couple were beautiful in every way, always thinking about their guests, family and friends making sure everyone had a fantastic day.
While only a couple of short showers threatened to dampen the mood, everyone braved the rain clouds and enjoyed being outdoors, it was a truly perfect day.
