A special honour

If there's one thing I love most about my job it's watching families grow, being there as a family and wedding photographer from the start of a couple's relationship I really enjoy getting to know people. Ranjith and Vaihari So it was with great pleasure that I had an email a few weeks back from Vaihari (who's wedding to Ranjith I photographed in 2016, and

Summer is here and it's the perfect time to book in for a family photo shoot with your children in the wild meadow's around Horsham and the beautiful Sussex Downs. I love working with children and these three are special (because they're mine!) This shoot was a real spur of the moment idea as I was photographing another family with their little one and I

Family Portrait and Clothing Tips for Family Photos

There's nothing quite like a family get together, and there's nothing like trying to organise a family photo. Believe me, my extended family has over 60 people in it, and it gets harder every time! It's always a fun challenge when I'm asked to photograph multi-generational family photos, so here's a few hints and tips to help you plan your family photo shoot. My number

Newborn Baby Photos and Family Photos

I love this beautiful family, having taken photos of their daughter at 6 months and 1 year old, I've now been invited back to capture the arrival of their latest addition to their family, Kiran. The newborn/family photo shoot was very much a family affair with people coming and going the whole time I was at the family home, but we got some beautiful photos

Perfect weather for a wedding photographer

Isaac and Debs had selected a stunning spot for their wedding photos with a beautiful meadow full of wild flowers as their background. When Debs and Isaac asked me to photograph their wedding it was a real honour. Not only are they not local, they don't even live in the same country (Wales isn't in England last time I checked anyway!) Fortunately they were

Dan and Charlotte Swan’s wedding

It was a great privilege to be asked by Dan and Charlotte to photograph their wedding this summer. The wedding took place in Ottery StMary’s (Devon) Charlotte’s local parish church. The church, a 1/3 scale replica of Exeter’s Cathedral, was absolutely stunning, making for beautiful wedding photos of the lovely couple both inside and outside in the church grounds and even in the surrounding streets.

Andy and Ellie’s Engagement Photo Shoot

I was contacted by Andy's mother who was looking for a special way to celebrate Andy and Ellie's Engagement earlier this year, she wanted to capture this lovely couple's love for each other in a special engagement photo shoot, given to them as an engagement present. So we met up where Andy and Ellie had first met and had their first date, and got engaged

Today has been an great day, the British Heart Foundation and Crawley wellbeing put on a huge outdoor event and asked Pure Photos as a local event photography company to cover the day. With so many various activities and things going on at this event, I needed to draft in some talented photography friends and got to work capturing the day in all it's glory!

Week 14: – The Invisible Man

Out this week on a walk to take my 14th 52 Week Challenge photo with my friend Dez we decided to use a stream to create an interesting effect. A double exposure, one with Dez in the photo and the second without him, leaving only his shadow and boots to tell you there's someone standing in the water. The only problem was that the boots

Week 12: – Where am I? – 3

Ok this is the last week of the 'Where am I?' challenge. This week, Stacey, Dez, Helen and I went for a walk in a nearby village. This was our starting and ending point...the question is...where did we start our walk, and in which village? Again, all the photos were taken in the same location. Answers on a postcard, or on our facebook page. --
